THE BASICS OF HOW TO JOIN & PARTICIPATE in THe GROUP
You MUST be a member in good standing (dues paid for current year) of PSBA.
- The Google Group is best accessed with a Google based (Gmail) account, however it is NOT required. If you join with a non Gmail based account, you will still receive the emails and be able to reply and post via email.
- Using a Gmail based account enables you to access the Google group via the web interface.
- If you do not have a Google hosted account or a Google email account (a @gmail.com suffixed email address) you will need to create an account in Google. There is no cost for a Gmail account.
- Please register with your REAL NAME in order to be approved. Without this information you may not be approved for the group.
- When you join you will be able to select a "display" name which will displayed for your postings. It is up to you whether use your name or some other abbreviation or nickname (such as Mr. S or Bee Rancher, etc). Your display name must not be any inappropriate or vulgar term, vulgar reference or slang. Violation will result in your group membership being deleted and being banned from the group.
- The group is moderated (the posts will be pending publication until a moderator approves the post).
APPLICABLE INFORMATION
Topics discussed and distributed via this group should be related to Beekeeping, PSBA or related topics (Meetings, Seminars, Agricultural Science, Research, Pollination, Botany, Entomology, etc.).
Persons who attempt to utilize the forum to attack, demean or belittle another member of the Google group will have their access revoked and be banned from any future participation.
The owner/manager/moderator reserve the right to delete inappropriate postings, replies or comments.
If you are replying to a post, please stay on topic with the original topic/subject. If you want to take the post off in a different direction, please change the subject line to reflect the new topic or just create a new post.
From time to time the managers/moderators may move a topic from one category to another or to designate a category for topics which were posted without a designated category. Old postings which are time sensitive and no longer relevant may be deleted.
